Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak Jeju is definitely one of the must visit place in Jeju. Located in Seogwipo, a journey by bus will take about 1 and a half hour from Jeju-si. We took a #701 bus from the Intercity Bus Terminal Jeju to get here. We asked the bus driver to stop at the Ilchulbong Entrance Bus Stop and from the bus stop we need to walk about 7 minutes more before arriving the ticket booth for entrance. Before beginning our hike, we need to pay the entrance fee of KRW2000/person. Then we slowly hiked to the peak of Ilchulbong which took us about an hour. In case you are wondering, what it so special about this place that the visitors don't mind hiking all the way to the top, well, to tell you the truth, the view that you can get while you are hiking and once you are up there is truly breathtaking. This place is surely for someone who loves nature. I'm sorry that my pictures failed to show you the beauty of it due to the rainy condition when we visited it but I can assure you that you will never regret going to the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak at least once in your lifetime.
