For a non native speaker, having a dictionary is necessary for learning the language. What I have here is one of the dictionaries that belongs to me. I can still remember that I used to read at least five words per day in order to learn English during my primary school days. Nowadays, the electronic dictionaries are replacing the old-fashioned, thick dictionaries like the one I have here but I think they are quite pricey, aren't they?
